If you can use a wrench then u can do it. If needed ask for help from friends and neighbors. U need a 14mm and 17mm socket. Lefty loosey righty tighty. Turn left to loosen it and turn right to tighten it. The amount of strength it takes to loosen it should be used to tighten it and when tightening it you should be able to finger tight it all way if it gets stuck then take it out and line it up.

just took a ride after doing spacers.....i got my click of recline back that was lost by adding dc storage bins in my rc. Also have max leg room. my armrest to leg angle to rest your rt arm is flatter. my sunvisors are suddenly more effective. Posture feels better......got more recline, more lumbar support without giving up legroom. Still a bit odd feeling up higher inside the cab but I'm sure that'll be gone after a coupla drives to work and back. Mirror angles non-issue. everyone could use this mod...................they might not know it yet tho.

Are these things safe to have installed in the event you crash your car?

Stupid question, does this work for regular cab bench seats?

Not sure. Just snatch the bolt out use anything about an inch and see if that works, if so see if a 1 1/2" round will work under it.If you need something lower than an inch or smaller dia let me know and I can machine it maybe. Post a pic of your rear seat mount.

hmmm, I might be interested in a 1/2 inch set. Still haven't shaken the weird whole seat leaning forward and too high up in cab feeling yet. Maybe 1/2 inch would be compromise. Might try with washers to see how that feels first................

Sure I don't blame you. If you decide on something just let me know. Price will be the same as it takes just as much machine work. Thank you

I have a bad back and very interested in anything that makes the ride better/more comfortable. I’ll take two sets with hardware please! What’s your PayPal?

I'll give it til this weekend to adjust and decide. Might try some washers to simulate 1/2" and see how it feels and if it's a go I'll hit ya up with PM.

    Installed (ignore the hair..dog problems)

For those wondering, the old bolts are 14mm and the new ones in the kit are 17mm. Took less than 5 minutes from me gathering the tools to putting them away in the toolbox.

Initial thoughts; more comfortable for sure. Only sat in the seat and didn't drive it yet, but I can already tell I'll be grabbing a set for the shotgun rider..aka wife.

    12/10 would HIGHLY recommend.

    GET THESE NOW!
