Honestly I could have been since this was back in 2012. I had it in my mind it was Sabre for some reason though.

I gave both my daughters Sabre pepper spray when they went away for school. The key chain version that way it was always with them when they left the dorms or house.

My nanny carries one that you can yank on it and it comes off the key chain a quick disconnect so to speak in case her keys are in the ignition or worse case get stuck in her purse or something so it'll break free. Not sure what brand spray she has. She also has this little ball that when disconnected from the socket attached to the key chain it let's out a very high pitched siren it's ear piercing.

As a bug proponent of self defense and not being a victim I would advocate her to go to a self defense class(es) that teach force on force and how to use different common objects for blunt force trauma in case there is a situation where getting to pepper spray or a distance defense aid isn't feasible. Also the hand to hand stuff is good because it puts you in as real world scenarios that training can do and will show weaknesses to improve upon and be prepared for the worst case.

    Just my $.02

@ilubtimmyhos @BravesTaco95 likely gonna buy the 2LO module for my bday. Then I could try and wheel in 2WD to see what it's like as you guys! Curious how it will go.

Yeah true! Close enough though. I think it'll be fun, plus 2lo while backing up my driveway would be key.

No fj case. Too much work and money for me to accomplish the same thing. Sorta.

I want to do the FJ case been keeping an eye out for good prices. Someone scooped one up on eBay for like half price. But the FJ case and crawl box have been on my list ever since I read the rock solid toys 4wd conversion write up.

It's definitely a sweet conversion. With everything becoming manual would be really nice. If for some reason my transfer case ever takes a shit, I'll look into it!

That's sweet! And the module is only $250 and takes all of 3 minutes to install. It's plug and play.
I have a feeling it'll be one of those things I never realized how much I'd use it until I get it. Did you wire in the extra switch or just do it through the 4wd knob?

Damn just found one for 350 free shipping! Oh 2lo is something I really want to figure out and play with. Wish I had the coin for a full Marlin case and be able to do front digs and stuff.

I've looked at the module but knowing that I'll be switching to an FJ case at some point I don't want to spend the coin on one. It's a sweet little hack though.

If you're handy and care that much, there is a DIY version with just a relay or two and some wiring! If you want a link lemme know.
