Damn where is a youtube video when you need it. I'm pretty sure it was Brad that was telling me that story last time we went he even pointed to where the tree was.

More options are always good. I zigged and zagged all the way up and down the back side of Daniel this past weekend we were the only ones up there so got to play with lines and obstacles. So peaceful and much more fun!

Anyone think this would be a good starter kayak just to put around on and drown a worm?

Just thinking cruising the shoreline with it.
Maybe riding some rapids down the Estatoe.
Would it be ok for a wide creek?

    Looks atleast 7ft long.

i'd get something more geared towards angling if you plan on doing any of that. if not, you're going to be disappointed or trying to add stuff to make up for it. i have a 12' sit on top field and stream angler version and enjoy it when i use it. still in the beginner phase and not to the point of going to buy a hobie pedal kayak or anything.

also, it's easier to paddle an angler kayak and not fish, than to try and fish from a non-angler oriented kayak.

Good luck at that price unless they don't mind either a 1st gen or early 2nd gen with higher mileage like over 150k at least.

dammit, have DEF in the tank?

I threw a P0299 code on sunday, "Turbo underboost" cleared it, been fine since, but notified the dealer, still have a few months of warranty left on mine.
