    @TXpro4X4 I got a electrician question....
Do you know what a X-10 remote is??? The actuators need changed, but only option I may have is a 24 volt actuator. Is it possible to run the a converter from 120 down to 24 and still run the x-10?

A timer? And I think your referring to a step down transformer to go 120 to 24v

Timer??? No, not a timer.... x-10 remote is a simple remote that you plug a module in to a regular outlet and then set the code channel and frequency such as G-5 and then set the remote to the same thing g-5 and then you can turn off said item. Works for a multitude of things, because you just plug the item in that you want controlled.

No, power supply is fine. Just trying to figure out the cheapest/best way to keep the existing x-10 system to control the pump, heater, and actuators.

    For the spa. Ok
    You have the other 1.
I have not worked with that 1 yet.
With that being said take a couple pics.
So the module you have you can use your phone to turn on the heater or the pump or what not right?

So the x-10 has a motor that is 24 volt connected and it dust controling the actuator and the x-10 is 120v right?

Yes the current system is all 120v.
I am looking to replace the existing 120v actuator to a 24v.
The x-10 system is just a module like this. It plugs into a wall outlet and then you plug what you want controlled into it. Kind of like a the flapper "clap on, clap off"download.jpg
I need to know what it will take to get the 24v actuator to act like the current 120v.
As I explained it to Aaron.... you have 120v lamp in your house that is plugged into that module. Now the only lamp you can replace it with is a 24v lamp but still need it to plug into that module.

Pic of 24volt module plz. Or how many watts if it's on there.
As above you can plug in a transformer like landscape lighting and step down the voltage but you have to know what the actuator or actuators if running multiple requires

Awaiting referral from doctor for the orthopedic surgeon and a quick stop for a MRI. Will see how much damage I have done. Referrals take 72 hours. I really hate the medical system. At least i am not going to Kaiser for this one. They did my back surgery and that was a complete cluster fuck.:annoyed:

Don't beat yourself up Jay...you were having a good time with your son and took a tough fall. There's risk with ANYTHING we do, but it's not going to keep me from getting off the couch and having some fun. I don't think you were being dumb at all.

One of my favorite quotes, although I have no idea where it came from...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intent of arriving safely in a well preserved body but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, "Wow what a ride!" - Let's Go

Woke up about 230 this morning, went outside to discover the street has been shut down. Accident between the BMW SUV and the motorcycle.
