    I added them, they used to carry an 80 pound canoe with no problem.
    Now they just catch branches and give me a place to hook my paracord/tarp custom awning.
    My topper came with 4 mounting locations for aftermarket bars. all on the top. Basically sections that are over an inch thick for mounting the screws and strength.
    I of course ignored all that because i wanted the bars to sit low profile, so mine are bolted with very tiny screws right through the thinnest part of the topper on the sides.
    No problem.

    @Madjik_Man
    My main goal was to keep it low and keep the canoe up there.

    I didn't silicone or apply any sealer, just used the stock rubber that came from Thule.

    #10 size screws. 10-32 I believe.

    The actual reinforced area for mounting such things.

    Used for the tarp/bungie storage.

    And when you have the canoe up on top there's no issues with the fiberglass flexing/cracking with added wind resistance?

    Haven't done any research into it really, probably wouldn't get a supermoto setup this year anyways.

    They did stop pretty awesome, and if they weren’t double the price of other pads I’d run them.
