Right now I look to be at 21.5 inches on both sides, but I have about 100 pounds in the bed and a light trailer hooked up. I will measure again when empty. I have no overload leaf.

You wont regret going with RXT! Ride great with and without weight in the bed.

    What option are you getting?
I’ve heard leaf packs start to sag within a year. Mine sagged pretty bad after adding weight in the bed. Lost .75”

Still undecided between option 2 and 3. Leaning towards 3 though, since I carry approx 130lbs of tools in the bed daily and the topper is like 200ish lbs. Want to keep close to stock like rake as well.

Similar measurements. 2011 stock DCSB 4x4 19.5" fr, 21.5" rear non tsb. Now you have me back to debating a full leaf pack...

@oscolivar1 what lift option you go with for the RXT’s? Which shocks you using with them?

I had a hard time deciding between an aal, oe type leaf pack from sd spring etc.... and Rxt’s/ Dakars. Figure do it once and have some options, so Rxt’s for the win. Plus have been reading some great things about the Icon packs.

Wow, so I'm only .5" higher than non TSB leafs. Ouch. I've e-mailed Icon, who asked me to send over pictures of everything. Hopefully I'll hear back from them today.

Earlier this spring I installed a HS 3-leaf on 3+1 TSB leafs that had started sagging. I got a bit over 1.5" each side w/o overload leaf. It has settled some to +1 3/8" driver's side and +1.5" P side. TSB leafs were only ~1 yr old and had sagged a lot, but I had done some heavy towing (wood). I don't see how your original leafs could have sagged so much that you'd get what you are measuring but who knows. You have pics of the installed 3-leaf?

    edit: gen 2 with 6112 (2nd notch)/5160

I’m at option 3 with RXT and using the Bilstein 6112/5160 6/5 setting. No extended brake lines but that’s next on my list.

This has before and after measurements from when I swapped leafs. The stock ones were shot from the weight of the ARE cap. Hope it helps a bit with measurements.

Nice. So whats the rear sitting at now measurement wise? Any extra weight? Did you use shims, cb drop?

    I appreciate the info

That's interesting! I have a similar setup. I just measured and I'm at 23" and I have a All Pro HD/HC steel bumper, Tonneau , and bed mat = 200 lbs or so added to rear. This is after 3+ years on truck. TSB pack no OL spring Deaver 3 leaf aal pack. IIRC 22" stock before TSB spring 22.7 right after, empty bed. That being said I seem to recall overhearing one of the guys saying the aals were for a Tundra 1st gen?? At first I thought it was too high but I since raised the front a little and added the bumper and it's perfect about 3/4" rake and level with a small load. Have to really try hard to hit the bumps now even loaded. That set of springs sounds a bit whimpy, like they're not helping much?

That's what I'm wondering, too. It's crazy you're sitting higher than I am with that much weight. Still waiting to hear back thoughts from Icon.

Havent done a hub to fender but last time I checked I was 39.5-39.75” from ground to fender in a 33” tire.

I have about 200lbs or so In the bed, waterport, Hilift, and a bunch of gear and tools, sliders as well (pic below).

When I had about 400+ lbs in the bed, it was at 39”

No shims, no CB drops, no squeaks, no clanks, no ext fuel lines.

Right on thanks for the info. Trucks looking good. Which wheels are those?

I ordered thr Rxt’s from Wheelers and they are waiting on stock to become available from Icon. It’s been like 5.5 wks and its killing me. Oh I guess to keep this somewhat Bilstein related, I am putting 5125’s on for the short term.

I was doing some other work on the truck today so measured mine at just over 23 3/8" hub center to fender. Gen 2 6112/5160 with TSB + HS 3 leaf AAL no overload. Your problem may be more with the TSB leafs and not so much the AAL.
