Our Seat covers are sewn with a type of thread called "Explosive thread". It's really cool stuff, It's very strong, but under extreme stress (an airbag) It will pop open and allow the air bag to function correctly. The only thing that you need to do, is make sure you install the drivers seat cover on the drivers seat and same with passenger seat.

We strongly suggest our leather option. It is very durable and comes with a three year manufacturers warranty! It is the option you will be the happiest with.

Install yourself or had someone else do it? Have to remove the seats?

These are meant to be a DIY install. No need to remove the seats! We've found that actually makes it more difficult. Here is a video we made that outlines how an installation goes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7thX6_wKv-g&t=397s

Wow, those Clazzios look the shit. Not sure how I researched seat covers without bumping into that company.
Nonetheless, I went Wet Okole for the functionality. I have family on Oahu that have been using these for years. Forgo the piping and they'er bombproof.
As mentioned, they're warm in the summer..

Good luck ever finding 100% leather seats for a Tacoma unless you go custom.

Its virtually impossible to find all leather seats in non-high end luxury vehicles (MSRP over $100K) Typically only where you sit is real leather, not the entirety of the seat.

Clazzio is PVC except that small inner perforated section.
My PVC sections are holding up just fine. In fact the real leather portion creases more.

So the leather Clazzios really are not all that different or more special. Its the type of material in most vehicles.

Make sure you keep the materials conditioned and I think they do fine.

Clazzios are damn nice but there's no way I'm putting leather on somethin I'm jumpin in all grimey from mtbiking, muddy from wheelin or saltwatery from beach or sweaty from doin whatever. WO is the shit for those situations. Minus the piping like was stated. Again, depends on your primary usage IMO..........Wife's ride is the oooooo luxury creature comfort unit, not the truck. Leather doesn't breathe any better than neoprene either, probably worse, so that argument would be a dillusional dead end. You want breathable, stay with cloth. Neoprene doesn't leave 2nd degree burns like leather left in sun does so there's that. Neoprene doesn't frostbite your ass in winter. Neoprene is easier to care for IMO too, no extraneous cleaners/conditioners needed. All about of preference and intended use.

I have a set of Wet Okole's on a 1st Gen Taco. Been installed since 2002. That's right, 2002. Math says that's 16 years ago. They are still holding up with no issues. Loved them so much that I bought sets for my 5th Gen 4Runner and 2nd Gen Taco.

Is there a way to order samples of the Clazzios that compare the pvc to the leather?

I had the Bartact seat covers in my Jeep and they are fantastic! They fit very snug and are very very durable! That being said I’ll likely give the Clazzio’s a try this time. I like leather and don’t really need or want the tactical look of the molle loops on the Bartact’s.

Wow. Clazzio leather seems to be a very strong favorite around here. I’m in this for the long haul so price is not THAT important as quality and eye appeal. I thing for my truck leather black and gray.. well sweet comes to mind. Will be ordering soon. Someone mentioned the name “Danny” and “$100 of for using Tacomaworld” so that is why I came here when I first bought my taco. I rely on my brothers and they can count on me. Thx!
