What to do?

My issue is not having a car in the meantime. I have a rental for 5 days after insurance cuts me a check. And some friends that can lend me a spare car here and there. Just need to find the perfect one, again, quick.

 

Dont be patient, be a maniac calling dealers everywhere. Dont let on that you're in a hurry or rushed to buy, but the truck is out there sitting on a lot(apparently because no-one wants a MT and they arent efficient enough. And are to hard to drive in traffic)
But have a little patience.

 

Mine is the standard OR, no premium or tech packages. Who cares what others think, if you like the scoop, that's all that matters.

Rent a car from enterprise for a couple of weeks, should cost about 300 to 500 which is a small fee to not be stuck in the wrong truck.

I got mine in Nov. 17, one local dealer had 2 manuals. A Barcelona Red one that had so many add ons they wanted over $40k and my exact truck in silver, which I test drove. When I went to leave it only took them a few minutes with the computer and phone to find what I wanted about 100 mi away. IDK why I didn't find it searching, so maybe if you have a good dealer they can help you find what you want.

Is it really hard to replace one of these trucks? I’d a figured they’d be a dime a dozen. OP sorry about your crash sounds like no one is damaged for life and that’s what counts.

 

I think the hard part was finding a manual trans. With premium and tech packages.

 

Took about 4 months to get mine, was worth the wait though. Sorry your truck got bashed up and hope you can find a replacement quickly

 

Around my parts there were a number of manuals but about none had the Tech and Prem packages together. I bet you can find a manual with Tech, but you probably will not get the Premium package.

Totally agree. It isn't worth rushing to get stuck with something you don't want for the next 10 years over a few hundred dollars now.
