Ok, I've been thinking about CB/HAM antennas. I really love the "overlander" look. I will be a complete poser in that aspect(I'll be lucky to go camp for a weekend), and until someone starts paying my bills........fuck'em :D

I am really liking the look of the antennas mounted on the front ARB bumper(what I will eventually get).

Right now, I'm really digging that look. This is the first vehicle I've ever owned that I will really change the appearance. My 65 Mustang was restored and left alone(16-17). My 95 4runner got wheels and a radio(17-23), my GC was left stock(23-30), and the TJ was left stock(30-39).
That is what wet dreams are made of :jerkoff:

My Freshman year at Auburn, I bought a 1986 CJ7(well, my parents bought it as my Christmas present) and the mechanic I took it to had a 79 FJ40(I know it's not a 79 series, just a cool story:D) sitting there. He told me the guy that owned it had $600 worth of brakes put on and never came back to get it(he graduated). I tried for years to get him to sell it to me. He always said "I don't want to sell it just in case he shows up". He would go out and run it up the road every few weeks to keep it from sitting. Thing was gorgeous

My parents sold their bronco back in the day.

    I divorced them after that.

Phil were you saying that you were looking to do it that date so you'll have it for a trip? Or was that someone else?

That was Murph. I can't remember when his trip is planned though. I think it's a Boy Scout trip with his son.

So not sure if they're dorky. But I got the inlay stickers for my off-road rims. Interested to see how those look

Luckily my dad will never sell this beauty. Hopefully it lives long enough to be passed down to my kids. (Ignore the missing fender flare and dent on the front, it’s all been fixed)

I hope the new bronco is an updated version of that. I've read they will offer a 4 door version which tells me it'll be like the JK Wrangler. Jeep lost me with those. I will admit it saved Jeep, but it brought in a totally different crowd to the Wrangler world that was more worried with luxury than what a Wrangler should be........a tough, utilitarian, shitty ride :D

Yeah I’m not getting my hopes up for the new bronco, but if it blows me away then I might have to get One

I was excited to see the new Jeep truck, then found out it will be a Wrangler with a bed. I wanted something like the old FSJ J-Trucks. Not a convertible. They are also saying the price is gonna be insane.

I would drive the absolute shit out of one of these

Yeah I’m hoping the bronco is more sized towards the first gen and can have a hard top to make it into a truck if needed. Then go back to suv when not needed

I just hope they keep it 2 door. That was one of my biggest complaints with the JK Wrangler.....that and the fact you could get smooth painted hard tops  Which is kinda funny b/c I drove a 4 door Taco. I just have it set in my mind how a Wrangler and Bronco should be..........they are no longer there.
