Silly question how do our center caps come off do you need to remove the wheel or do they pop off ?

 

Not a silly question at all!

You pull it right off your wheel, then you remove the Toyota emblem by pushing the two clips in the back together. There was someone on page 11 of this thread who was nice enough to provide pictures of how he did it on his truck. We also provide a set of tips in every order!

I recently purchased and installed the vinyls on my '18 TRD OR. The fit was great! There were plenty extras sent in the event of a mistake. Totally changed the look and the price is right!

Can anyone weigh in on the long term durability of these decals?

Also what is the recommended way of cleaning the wheels with these on?

 

My husband created the off road wheel decals that are sold on Tacoma World last August and his lasted through every season, intense heat, ice/snow, Louisiana flood waters, off roading,back roads during hunting season, sand on the beach, you name it we probably went through it...we pretty much tested them every way possible and we have never had one come off or peel!

As far as washing your truck, my husband power washes his truck almost every weekend and we never had an issue. You should not have any issue as long as all the sides, corners, edges are smoothed down and adhered properly during installation.

 

They will probably last just as long as the TRD/SR5 bed decals Toyota smacks on there! Unless you have Wal-Mart fix a flat for you ! As long as you clean your wheels good and wipe with alcohol before applying I wouldn’t worry about anything coming off!
As for cleaning I hit them with 3000psi pressure washer about a foot away and use a nylon bruch with meguiars gold class or whatever sope u like!
