sorry that happened bro. People who drive little cars like that are just asking for it. I laugh at people who drive smart cars..... they don't appear to be very smart if they drive one in a city like memphis. Just asking to get fucked up.

That sucks hitting someone in the rear. I did the same about a month ago in my work truck to a Honda Accord. Not even a scratch on my 3500 chevy truck but a lot of damage to the car. They don’t build cars to handle a impact at all. Glad no damage to your truck and no one hurt.

Anyone in or around galatin have a mig welder I could use? I need to put some tack weld on my steering column. After replacing most of my steering and suspension joints only to still have play, it turns out I should have listened to @rngr and @Justinogo and looked at the column first. :facepalm:So this is the plan to fix it. Basically just putting a tack weld here. user42191_pic4205_1280607966.jpg user42191_pic4207_1280608055.jpg tack weld.jpg
Already pulled the shaft out,20180828_211011.jpg 20180828_211008.jpg so you dont have to worry about me ripping my dash apart in your driveway. Only need to make the quick tack welds. And I need to get it done asap. I'm headed out of town for the weekend, hopefully in the truck. Haha

You really should have gotten more video of the first hour when I could actually wheel. Lots of me walking around though.

Yea that was more intense wheeling honestly. I was mainly just hanging on while you tried to break your 4Runner :)

The ones that hate holding a bead. It’s nuts.

If that’s a 17” Irok than that explains things. I remember years ago it was pretty well known that the 17” Irok doesn’t hold a bead at all...like guys running 15 lbs on beadlocks to keep the inner bead on. Things may have changed since then but it was definitely a thing

One of the fixes is to either run RTV or silicone on the wheel bead surface or a layer of duct tape on the wheel to tighten things up too

That's a thing? Damn was thinking about those for my next tire (37x) but I'm only locked on the outer...

Yeah it’s only on certain sizes if I remember right. I’m sure you can google around and find some info on the size your looking for. Interco isn’t known for consistency across sizes
