What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Darned if I can make things appear where I want them. Here is my full build for the Flex-A-Lite.

 

I normally don’t talk finances with strangers but I scored this Domello Off-road bumper for $200 on Craigslist. Repainted and mounted right up. It’s for the later 2nd Gens but IDC for $200.

 

Can you give some more info on this? where is the attachment site?

 

I just close the door on the strap. Or roll it up on the window works to. The handle is from a rubber tube workout thing that broke. I'm sure other kinds would work.

Yeah I thought it might be a scam at first. There is a dent in the bottom right corner but I kinda like it. Adds character you know?

 

Replaced the t-bar handles on the canopy today on the 2010 Tacoma I bought in July. The locks in the old ones froze. On the old set, i couldn't get a key in. Then I could get a key in, but broke the key trying to turn it. New t- bar handles were $30. Unfortunately, the guy who sold them to me says, the crooks break a window instead. Oh, well, you honest folks won't try to get in.

 

That's my next mod.... I need some struts for the hood. I miss having these little things that were on my 4Runner! Are these the best option for us Tacoma owners?

 

My dang cup holder broke for the third time and I’m tired of shelling out dinero. Made some micarta 3/4” thick and just made a simple center divider that fits my Yeti coffee cup and tumblers well enough to keep em in place. Surpassed my expectations.

 

I was finally able to drive after dark the other night and see how the new 32" light bar and headlights worked after installing and adjusting. It worked great! I saw a deer off on the side of the road that I would not have seen with just high beams... Out here in the country, it's a must have item for driving! Plus I like looking at the what I have done so far.... before I really piss off the wife!

 

Damn son. In Washington too.... I would have bought and re sold lol

 

Bilstein 5100 on all 4 corners w/ AAL. Stock coils at 2.5.

After about a month of research and lots of contemplation I chose this set up.

1) couldn’t afford some of the complete setups and don’t have the experience to install myself so that limited my options. 2) very glad I didn’t do spacers, the performance upgrade from stock is incredible! And the lift (which imho, is critical for the dclb’s) is a plus!

I thought there wasn't a handle there due to the air bag system.

 

Depends on the year. My 05 doesn't have one. He's got an 07 so maybe he doesn't have it either.

 

Please explain, or send me a link. If i don't need the additive, ill just send it back and spend the $10 on something else. This is the first time I have changed gear oil.

I just looked up the spec sheet on the truck and it said LSD so i bought the additive.
