They did another chest x-ray and pulled some blood for labs. Based on the initial image he still seems to have a little fluid on his lungs, though he is breathing fine. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm beginning to think that he's going to leave us far sooner than originally expected. The poor little guy used to be so hyper and talkative, and now he's just tired and looks depressed. He's a smart one, so I'm sure he knows something's wrong. I think his brother knows something's up too because he keeps following him around and watching him really closely. Arthur doesn't try to start any playtime like he used to...he's just keeping close.

Well shoot!!! Keeping my fingers crossed and praying for you guys. I know all too well where you’re at emotionally right now and I know how bad it sucks. Just try to stay focused on the positive and make the most of the time you’ve got left with him.

Oh, I'll bet he does, even if he doesn't know it yet.

My first cat, many years ago, was a little black female that was one of my parents barn cats. She was around 10 years old when I took her in and had never been inside a house. The first couple of weeks she hid behind my couch and wouldn't come out except to eat or pee and any sound or sudden movement would send her back into hiding.

I was about to hand her back over to my folks because she was so obviously terrified. Then one night I came home from work and sat down, and she came out from behind the couch, hopped up into my lap and started purring. And that was it, from then on she was fine. It was like over night it dawned on her how good she had it.

Really, bring him in, he'll thank you for it later!

She is a 1.5 yr old Siberian. Amazing personality.....calm, playful, and affectionate. It’s my 1st Siberian; would recommend this breed to anyone as a great family pet.
