It's only got 166k on the odo, give or take. Plenty of life left in there, especially after the mild front-end rebuild a couple months ago. Haha.

I've thought about a new ram ecodiesel, the space and diesel would be legit

The space is the main reason I started driving the F150. That and the fact it cost me almost the same amount as a 3rd gen Taco would've been. The Ecoboost is a fun engine though, especially the bigger one; never driven one until I started doing the test drives a while ago.

I need to get out of town. Are there Prerunner accessible trails in Northeast Georgia that I can take my kiddo out and ride?

Redlands WMA supposedly has some fairly mild service roads, but they've been closed both times I've been out there.

Anyone know of a deal on a used Taco? My coworker is looking for one for his teen son in the $10k range. I think he wants a 4x4. I seriously doubt he’ll find anything since he says everything he finds in the price range has too many miles for his liking. But thought I’d throw a shout out on here to see if anything pops up. Near the Gwinnett/Hall county area. Thanks.

Any of y'all buy your lights from TRS? I remember they used to be (maybe still are, haven't exactly been looking for them) pretty popular on here but never dealt with them personally. Considering LED high/low beams and fogs as a future mod, don't know much about their house brand Morimoto.

I love them, they are in Atlanta. Have a sweet setup. They will chat with you and help you. Good prices and have great sales.

x2 on what Kris said. They're awesome and extremely helpful, plus you can go down to their warehouse and pick stuff up. Plus there's a 10% off coupon that I have (hopefully it still works  )

Awesome guys, I appreciate y'all's feedback on them. I knew they were based in ATL, but didn't know if you could go there or if it was just a warehouse or something. I had to get Line-X for the new truck today, so once the sticker shock wears off from that I'll start thinking about the highs/lows. This truck doesn't have dedicated DRL's; it uses the low beams at 80% or whatever. I figure LED's would be a good route to go because of that. Definitely don't wanna cheap out on those, but at the same time if I can get something just as good as Philips but for less, why not.

Josh I'll probably hit you up for that coupon code when I get to that point.

a lot of bad ass stuff
Has anyone dealt with their lower alignment tabs (located on the LCA) bending?
this is one of my biggest problems right now, and I am unable to get my truck properly aligned until I get this problem fixed. I have a quote from a garage to do the work, but its rather pricey, as what I am reading, doesn't sound to hard to do, for a person who has a welder and knows their way(better than I do) around the front end of our trucks.
can anyone recommend a welder/mechanic that could do the work. I believe this is what I will need.

    • 1/4" thick lower cam alignment tabs will not bend like factory tabs.
    • Welding and grinding are required for installation.

@marinemonkey did them on Bryan's rig a few weeks ago. I don't have any pictures of them but they looked good
