Those people generally did come from NE Philly. I grew up in Bensalem, and nobody from my generation referred to it as NE Philly (even though it's a border to Phila). My Grandparents departed Oak Lane in 1973, and my parents generation departed the city in the late 70's/early 80's ... and these are the people who never left the city (mentally). It is a bit strange, but considering how Bensalem has been so built up since I was a kid (has a Casino, wut?) ... it is all but assimilated at this point anyway.

Oh yeah!! I remember cruising through Bensalem. Just picking on people that call that area NE Philly. Cause if you ever asked a person from NE Philly if that area was part of NE Philly, they would say Hell No... LOL

I hear ya, it is fun to give rib shots. Still have a lot of friends in Bristol and Levittown ... and I call it "New Jersey Jr." because they still have like 3 jug handle turns on rt 13.

I'd like to ask a related question...

Does it matter if the recommended 10 miles per month are driven all at once, or smaller distances throughout the month? like, 2.5 miles per week?

10 scattered miles in the month are fine. I hit a nice 1mi or so straight a couple times per week.

I'm curious as to why the road has to be straight to work in the 4hi and why does it have to be raining? It doesn't make sense to me. Could I not just put it in 4hi and drive down to the store or wherever and work the 10 miles a month in?
