It is and isn’t. It an irok ND, their radial “all terrain” tire. He had problems with his last tires on those wheels too. Granted, they were a 255 on a 9 or 10” wide wheel so yea...

But damn he has it bad with debeads.

Yea, I think the culprit is the wheel, not the tire. The wheels are just a cheap Discount Tire wheel, their version of an off-road wheel. I difinetky would discourage anyone from purchaseing them.

As for the tires, I haven’t heard anything specifically about the Iroc’s de-beading. Personally, I love them. They hook up on everything.

I think the reason I de-beaded at LBL is I ran my pressure a bit to low, 8psi, for the conditions.

 

Deffinatly wanna make it out to wheel hot springs with you eventually, but that's just a tad too far for a tack weld. Especially with a wobbly steering wheel

 

But almost 3k for 5 wheels... ouch.

 

That’s why I rock 4 Pro Comp Vapor 2’s. Less than $1500

 

Call any trailer shops you can. Anyone who builds or sells trailers. 9 times out of ten they’d be more than happy to tack weld that for you for like $5.

Hell, I had a trailer company build the driveshaft for my old truck. It was like $350 for all new unjoints, a new carrier bearing, and they cut my factory driveshaft and added the biggest slip yoke that would fit.

 

That's why I got kmc Enduro beadlocks! But I will say that trail ready is the only wheel I know that offers life time Warranty on wheels (extra $ but still a life time warranty in the end game)

 

Muffler shops generally will also.

As far as beadlocks, I really looked into Rock Monsters for my truck. It's nice that they're DOT approved and lock both beads. Downsides are they're heavy, can leak especially if assembled improperly, and pricey...same downsides as most all beadlocks.

 

It was the 39.5s specifically. Something about a bad mold. But his are 35s and the NDs. His wheels are shit. Same as Everetts old wheels that wouldn't hold a bead. Not all wheels are created equal
