Vibration is gone in 4wd .Does the needle bearing engage in 4wd more, hence the lack of vibration?

That’s the indication that the needle bearing is bad, you can get the new solid bushing from East Coast Gear Supply and the tool relatively cheap like less than $100 and do it yourself.

If not, I’m sure there’s plenty of places in the Springs that’ll do it.

Thanks man! I'll just do it myself . It looks like if you get everything they recommend, it's about a $160 bill . I'll just do the work myself

I had a small vibe around 25 mph. This was after my OME install. W/ carrier spacer.

I recently installed 265/75/16 KO2s/ install included alignment. It turned out my rears were out of alignment. That fixed and all straight now. No vibration at low speeds at all. PERFECTION. Love my OME suspension. 1BAAD186-2CB1-49B8-B617-9C1A9ECCBCC9.jpg

2° shims in the rear fixed it for me.
Also if you have installed a diff drop remove it. The diff drop on these rigs changes the front drive line angle enough to cause vibrations.

Looks great. How do you like OME goodies vs the stock suspension?

I'll have Discount do my balancing again. The truck is vibrating pretty bad ever since I got it back from them, and they did say that the tires were super hard to balance, although they spent 10 minutes on it...

I also examined my suspension last night and found that my front driver shock was missing it's bottom nut to keep it mounted to the lower arm. The dealership replaced it, and the truck is doing better now. Not sure how it came off, but it did.

If you ever find yourself wanting to move to 285s in the future, it's super easy with this setup and stock OR wheels. Throw on some Spidertrax spacers (1.25) and you'll get zero rubbing

Not diff drop, but I'll take a look at the shims. Where did you get yours?

Did you change out the diff oil after installation? Did you lose a lot during the install?

A little drains out, but yes I drained and changed it completely.

The original gear oil was grey and thick, looked like mud, it’s the first time I’ve seen that, must have been from the break in.

I’ve changed all gear oil and MT to Redline and Tcase to Ravenol.

The seal is required but the rest of it, strictly speaking, isn't. But you will need an equivalent puller/driver.

Okay. I'd rather just buy it all in one swoop than shopping for the equivalents. I can always sell the puller and driver to someone doing the work

Big difference from stock. Very solid and planted not harsh. More travel. Really nice on road and off

Would you say it is less “plush” over bumps?

You can probably borrow the removal tool on TW. I did from a member. The other tools can be rented for free at your local auto parts store.

I did this and it took about 1.5 hours.
