If you like brewing you'll outgrow that thing in about 10 seconds.

So many people say this. I wonder what the stat is on qty sold vs batches made

I left the can at work so I don't know.

My big issue is that the beer it came with was this stuff:

:puke:Not a fan. So I bought this, something more my flavor profile:

Honestly not sure I will be into it. I am making it because I have it, but have been stressing about cleanliness, temperature it's fermenting at, and I'm sure I will be stressed when bottling. Takes the fun out of beer, and I already have WAY too many hobbies.

Plus like you said, I am doing a premade kit, no chance to get creative and try new shit. I much rather explore craft beer via taste than creation. Still interested to see my results though.

There's nothing wrong with kit recipes. In fact I highly reccomend new brewers to use them while they learn the process. They're easily modified by changing out the yeast, add or change hops or add grains/ malt.

Since I drink almost exclusively sours, and I was driving across the country and Denver was only an extra hour...

Drinking Suffering Soul at TRVE Brewing. Awesome lesser known brewery that makes awesome sours in Colorado. Also death metal and satanic images because why not?

Well this might be my new favorite thread.

I know many don’t share this sentiment, but fall is my absolute favorite time for beer. Whether they be Oktoberfest style or pumpkin flavored, I am all about them.

    Currently enjoying this treat.CDAF4D7F-6461-4A79-9341-2FA8CC4E77B8.jpg
