Just my .02 but I'm from Fl. Atturo makes a inexpensive mud terrain if your looking for just a spare. I have a locker in my truck so no need to buy one. I still don't have a winch but I have a strap hi-lift and shovel which I could pretty much get out of any scenario where I live,

Hard to find a 255/85 r16 tire. There are only about 6 or 7 makers that offer that size option.
I don't have a locker from factory, so I need one.
Winches are almost as handy as wenches. Need one of those too.
I've also got a Hi Lift Extreme. Watched a view videos of using it for recovery. Looks dangerous af in my mind when I imagine using it in that way after feeling the force needed to lift and lower the truck using it. Straps, shackles, ax, and shovel are always in the truck bed.

The notion that a turbo would ever start making power before a supercharger is really mechanically confusing to me, because the SC is driven by your crank. The SC literally cannot be idle if your engine is running. The amount of power might be lower, sure, that makes sense, but a turbo making power sooner just doesn't seem possible to me, so I'm clearly missing something.

Turbo also isn't five fucking thousand damn dollars, too. :)

EDIT: and the URD system isn't a crank-driven SC

I wasnt sure if they made in a 255 or not. A hi-lift can be deadly. I make sure its in good working order before I take it on the trail. So if you go the route of the winch than does that purchase include a new bumper. If you get a new bumper than you might need new coil overs if you get coil overs than you might need new UCA's.

Finger not for you, or anyone. I just think it's a hilarious pic. Shows me trying to do fun shit in my truck that I was 80% sure I was gonna get stuck on anyway. But still wanted to do it, because FUN SHIT IS FUN

    Oops! Pic credit to @Breezy
I was actually flipping him off because I saw the camera shoved out the passenger window of @presta24's truck

That moment is a good reason for my purchase of the mid skid. And another time at Rush when I hit my crossmember pretty solid.

    Stock-ish
Not unusual at all depending on the turbo size. A blower’s boost is directly correlated to RPM, so at low RPM there is minimal boost compared to higher RPM when you are hitting max boost of 5-7 psi. Hang a small 5-7psi turbo, and you can hit max boost quicker than you can a SC.

There’s some technical bits I’m leaving out about parasitic drag/heat soak on different sized SC’s and wastegates/blowoff valves but that’s the gist of how a turbo can boost sooner than an SC
