Nice! Can't wait to see how it looks!!! Well, I really want the OME BP-51 kit or something like it but I can't justify the cost. I would never get my monies worth. I think the 6112s/5160s are a good compromise.

If I get close to 2.5" I will be happy. I want to retain some rake too though. Be able to tow my utility trailer. And beat it a little harder off road when I ultimately get into that.

The factory glass has a bluish green tint from the factory. When he's done it will look like this:

Any inferno owners have Lamin-X for your fog lights? I have installed the yellow but saw a picture with amber and like the look of amber on inferno. Only thing is that I have yellow leds coming in for my fogs and don’t know how amber would work with the yellow leds. What you guys think? 11A72616-9D53-4869-BBD3-C72C050440DC.jpg

They better be really bright LED bulbs to make a difference through any color film. I've seen the amber covers, the hard plastic ones, over LEDs and they really diminished the output.

At least amber would match the headlights more than the yellow.

I’ll post pics of the output when I receive them tomorrow but it’s mainly for looks since I rarely use my fogs. What you think about the look of it on the inferno though? My wife is hating on them lol.

Actually I really dig the amber, or even the yellow on the Inferno, a lot! Even though I run the blacked out Morimoto's I almost got the film for them. But since my ultimate goal is to black out the headlights I decided not to.

I am however contemplating buying the Lamin-X film sheet for my 32" bumper light bar. Anything in the Yellow or Amber color family looks good on Inferno!

Thanks for your input. I would love to black out all my lights but I don’t have the money for those kinds of mods right now so I went the cheap route. Eventually I may switch over to the amber covers but for now these will do.

Yea, of course, I was not criticizing at all, nor was I . The Morimotos were a fluke, some crazy sale I lucked out on, and came blacked out.

I always tell people "you just do you, and unless someone is paying for your mods, do what makes you happy and financial sense". How I live. I also say "I don't care what anyone else thinks". :D

The rear is factory glass, no added film. The fronts are SunTek Carbon XP, and is their 35 series which is 33% VLT (visible light transmission, aka how much light gets through)

    https://www.suntekfilms.com/Files/SunTek Auto Specs.pdf

The guy assured me that the next step down, the 25 series which is 23% VLT would be darker. I've gotten all my vehicles tinted with them and trusted them again. I think it is perfect.

    20180810_094921.jpg

It's a near perfect match color wise and it only looks more grey here because the sun was brighter towards the back of the truck parked here. But from the inside it's hard to tell it is tinted.

Thank you. I do prefer them tinted rather than the backs done and the fronts not. Some guys get the backs done and the fronts really dark. Maryland laws are strict against being too dark. Make sure you check your state laws first.

Yea, to be honest, I would pay 4x as much as I did for tint to have real tinted glass in the front. I hate film because no matter what it can never match the optical quality of glass. And it only takes one time for something to rub up against it to scratch it. Something like a polyurethane coffee tumbler lid for example, or your wife's diamond wedding ring.
    :anonymous: :annoyed:

And yea, this year has not been very goo to my home team, not very good at all..........but ya gotta stick no matter what right?

Yeah I feel you on sticking with them through thick and thin. Been a Alabama fan and braves fan my whole life and have never strayed from them and they have both had their droughts that’s for sure. Actually going to see the braves this Sunday so I’m pumped they’re actually leading the NL East. Maybe we can actually make it to the playoffs this year but you know with Alabama they’re back on top and it feels damn good lol.

That's way cool! I just keep hoping for a 83' World Series repeat. We've come close but....

It's bee a while since I've been to the game. Our company always has free tickets but I live over an hour away from the stadium and no way can I go to a game and not have a couple beers.

I hope the weather holds out for ya! Go Braves!
