I contacted ARB with questions about the ride height of my truck as well. The rake is pretty bad but I am running 887s. I’ll more than likely have to buy new springs.
    Here’s the email reply:

I've settled on getting an OME kit, however can't decide if I want 887s or 888s.

I have no weight up front at the moment (might get a slim style bumper down the road).

The 887s will lift approx. 2" and keep factory rake and 888s will have an additional 5mm of height.

I think the look of the front end slightly more level with the 888s is more appealing but unsure about ride.

So the question is, is it going to affect ride quality having the 888s on without any extra front end weight?

    Thanks for any help.

Aren't the spring rates the same?

Yes. Only difference is that the 888s are 5mm taller. So maybe no noticeable difference in ride due to same spring rate?

    Correct or it'll be negligible.

I suppose you helped me settle it then. Lol
OME Kit w/ 888s. Will get 2.5 degree shims for the rear.

If you’re planning on adding weight to the front end, don’t get the 887s. I’ve been talking to ARB this week about some rake issues with my kit. I’m running 887s with full leaf pack. I’m pretty sure the info he sent me can be found on their website but I figured I would attach it here:

Anyone get different lift heights with the Dakar leafs? Both of my leafs have the + on them and there is a difference in the rear height when looking at the bed of the truck. The rear passenger side sits higher than the rear drivers side. I’m wanting it to be the same height on both sides...any idea how to remedy this?

What are you running up front? If OME, did you install a trim packer?

Did you crank the DS to compensate for the taco lean?

Yes, the Drivers Side’s collar has been turned more to compensate for the “Taco Lean”....
I’m seeing the difference in height only in the rear. I’ll see if I can go get a picture... back in a few

I’m not too sure if you’ll be able to really see it with my bad iPhone photos but, I did what I could atm...

My bumper is a little off due to backing into a tree years back
But, that’s not really the issue...when you stand behind the vehicle, you can see the passenger side of the bed sits higher than the drivers side.

Yeah....I thought about doing that but, I was hoping for a different fix. Maybe I should have gotten a leaf pack with the + for the drivers side and a - for the passenger side.

Gotcha. Well, I just need to source a pack with the - then. I called Wheelers in hopes that Dan was available but, he no longer works there
That guy was always so helpful.
