Yea, bump in the road on the daily since 1.04. I'll top off with some 93 when I get down to 3/4 tank and see if it goes away.

I agree with this. In certain circumstances of lowish load, low rpm I've had the bumpy feeling. My hearing is terrible so couldn't tell you if there's a noise.

I'm on 1.04R 91, I do not have the clunk on slowdown. I had it on 1.04 91, clunked enough I downgraded back to 1.03.

I do feel the "bump on the road" symptom at low RPM (below 1500), but they are not severe, I would not qualify it as a stumble. 1.04R is still the best tune to date, for my truck.

My truck has had the slight misfire at higher loads in lower rpm's since the tune, I don't recall having it on the stock tune.

Mat, I have this sensation (1.04/87), but I attributed it to my E load rated tires being firmer than the P rated OEM rubber. The LT tires definitely transmit more of the road, but maybe what I’m feeling isn’t all tire related.

Thanks for the reports guys, quite a few people have updated to the TSB and not even tuned and are emailing me asking if 1.05 fixes it. Some people did not have it post TSB, some people have had it on their trucks since forever.

Just to confirm, 1.04R 87 Octane has the bump in the road feeling when in the lower RPM range under moderate load. So pulling out of the neighborhood and accelerating normally, I feel this once the trans has shifted to 4th and is slowly accelerating from 35-60 MPH. It stays pretty consistent with the bumping until it shifts to 6th and I get above 60 mph. I hardly ever feel it when accelerating slightly more rapidly. For example trying to just get up to 60 when there is a car a quarter mile away when you pull out.

I only get that “bumps in the road” feeling in the morning after the truck has been running for 5 minutes or so on this one turn. Lol I just figured the engine was still cold and doesn’t like going to 5th at 40mph. It goes away if I give it gas or drop to S4. No issues after that. I haven’t gotten the TSB yet because I’ve been perfectly happy with 1.04. Looking forward to 1.05 Power.

When cruising the hesitation bumpy feel almost feels like a shudder from lack of power/fuel

He added his changes to the TSB, the TSB isn't included in 1.04R.

    ^This.

04B04 (latest TSB update) is required for 1.04R.

I had assumed the bumpy road feeling was driveshaft vibrations after acceleration from a stop. I shimmed driveshaft and axle multiple times and could not eliminate it.

Then I downloaded techstream and confirmed it was software related. The grafts looked like a rollercoaster in between 1500 and 2000rpm.

You MUST have the latest TSB for 1.04R.

    1.04 doesn't need it.

    1.05 will contain it.

I definitely get the "bumpy road feeling" at 50-55mph when it bumps to 6th. I'm running 1.04 87. I was running 1.04 91 all summer and never noticed it really. But it was definitely more pronounced when I switched back to 87. I would say it happens under low load, less than ~1500rpm, when you need more torque.

Sometimes it all most feels like the TC locking and unlocking rapidly. I get a bit of a kick in the pants.
