I was giving them away for free but I don't think they'd work on a 3rd gen. It was some brackets and cheap $10 Amazon lights. I already found someone else that wanted them though

77 gr is heavy-ish for 5.56/.223. The joke is the extra decimal point you put in there. No such thing as a .77 gr bullet.

I have no interest in .300 WM. I'd like an AR-10 in 6.5 CM.

It doesn't matter for the actual ditch light. It matters for the mounting brackets. 2nd gen and 3rd gen brackets are different. You can get any light you want as long as you can mount it to the bracket.

I'm just in general not really interested in magnum rounds. Barrel life and powder consumption just aren't worth it to me. Also, finding anywhere to shoot something like that too it's full capacity is a bitch. When I was in NM, the local range was around 550 yd, there were multiple 1000 yd ranges within 60-90 minutes drive, or I could just load up and drive out into the desert on public land. Around here it's even harder.

Also, if I'm buying a gun, it typically has a purpose (hunting, competition, self defense, etc), and I don't have a purpose that requires a magnum round. I used a muzzleloader to hunt elk back in NM. With good shot placement, there's no need for a magnum round for elk and especially not for the tiny deer out here.

Ive been looking at some 6.5s as well, one of my neighbors got one at the beginning of the year and started long range competitions. Said its the most accurate round hes ever used.
