I couldnt either, so I went to community college. I've just heard marvelous things about the UNCG cafeteria. Even the most basic meal plan allows you to eat at a restaurant once a day. Theres gotta be 30 on campus to pick from.

We have a Subway. That's about it besides some random restaurants you've never heard of and the campus dining center.

However, I'm only a 15 minute bus ride from the biggest selection of food and culture in the state. I had the best burrito of my life the other day in the Mission District of SF.

If one lives that close to good eating, I can't fathom why anyone would think about stopping at Subway.

It's a 30 second walk from my dorm.

And I'm pretty sure if I parked my truck in San Francisco at night, it wouldn't be there after I'm done eating.

Wouldn't call it "gormet" but CSUS has togos, x2 panda express, baja fresh, a sushi place (never been tho...), round table (serves beer), a java city or two, a starbucks, a burger/sandwich joint, burger king, even a nice sit down place with table cloths, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

Oh no. I know this from living in the Bay Area for almost 20 years. It's all they talk about on the news. Car thefts, car break-ins, etc.

I know Subway is a staple diet of many a TW user, but don't go burning yourself out eating there.

It's too expensive anyway. I like having it once in a while though.

I usually cook my food. I'm just waiting for Friday to go do my groceries back home, SF prices for literally anything is ridiculous.

I love potatoes, but I'm not trying to gain weight. Starches are bad.

I have three roommates in my apartment from SoCal. It's funny watching them freeze to death because they assumed SF is warm like SoCal.

Why haven't you invited me off-roading yet!?

I was in class the other day and I heard an Air Raid siren. Apparently they test it every Tuesday at Noon. Looks like they repurposed it for Tsunamis instead.

Mostly because I require those who go with me to have more than 1/2 a lift kit installed...

But also because I haven't actually been wheelin much lately.

EDIT: oh, the other reason is the best way for me to feel really OLD is to hang out with college kids, lol...
