Just curious how long did that new car smell last in your truck? mine lasted at least 5 months and now 9 months later I still get wiffs of it. I've never had anything like it. This is even after mud, dust, smoke, and sweat being in the truck.

Anyone else still have new car smell???

I hear those are crap. Does is actually smell like new car smell? I've seen aerosol cans you can buy. Not too sure of the product, though.

That's part of the study I read, too, but I just chose not to include that part.

All those people in New Orleans loved that "new trailer" smell of their FEMA trailers too. Until someone realized the smell was making them sick.

I resemble that remark, and for the record, I'd sleep on a bed made of new tires if my wife would join me.

even though i didnt buy my truck new...it had that new car smell as i had come from a smelly old volvo sedan and a ford ranger owned by an old guy

the new "clean" smell in my tacoma lasted thru the test drive, and then was gone about halfway home the day i took delivery. I made sure to fart a couple good times in there to "mark my territory" if you will

its been downhill ever since :D

Sorry I'm going to jack this thread real quick. Lets get a couple pictures of the other rides.

Oh yeah I think I just got used to the smell and don't realize it still smells like new car. Everyone else thinks it does though.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I was walking down the street and I caught a whiff of something that reminded me of the way my Dad's new car smelled in the 1980's, and I realized that new cars smell differently than they used to. Might just be my mind remembering things differently, but I guess it could be the chemicals and plastics used now are different than they used to be.
