Only factory 4.5 bs with 10" wheels

Tires are pretty much a narrow 295



Now its 8" wheel with 275s

 

Those are 275/70r18 (33.4x11.3) on 18x10s with 4.5bs

It was perfect. Been self clearancing for the past year as well so almost no rubbing

 

What size are your new ones?

 

275/70r17 32.2x11 I think

Only lost 20lbs per wheel, due to the motometals.

Should've went with the at3s. Lot lighter and c load

 

I think it looks good but I’m partial to those wheels. I got a set just waiting to go on. Been waiting a while now actually...

 

I made a small bracket and mounted it by the booster.

 

Ah okay. I wish I could put mine there but I have the charcoal canister in the way

 

Unfortunately for us 1995-2000 guys, the charcoal canister is mounted there. Absolutely no space to mount something like that. Maybe the 1995-1997 trucks can get away with it since it's only a small cylinder as compared to the newer one - but forget about it on 1998-2000 trucks.

 

01-04 has space there lol

 

I know. On 2001-2004 trucks, the charcoal canister is under the bed perpendicular to the fuel tank.

 

I made four mounting blocks from an ABS plastic block that I bought on eBay. Each 4 inches tall, 1 1/2 wide, and about 5 inches long. Used a cove bit to route a groove for the rails to fit in. Then a lot of using a belt sander and test fitting to put the proper angles on the base where it met the shell. Then just drilled a hole through everything and use a substantial bolt, with a big fender washer and nut on the inside of the shell. Also plenty of silicon to seal it.

 

Not on Cali trucks

 

I have a cali truck and that space is empty. No egr

 

Frame flex, or possible collision damage. You could probably go inside the cab and work some/most of the dent back out. But then it would likely require some filler and sanding. Lots more work, and probably not worth it (at least not to me, but...)

 

Mine's not empty.

Mine is empty there but the abs takes up all the space on the other side
