Great info. I ordered my A.R.E. with the mounting rails. But didn't know they were Yakima. I'll check there width before ordering a rack too. Thanks.

Had it for 3 days now and loving it! Stationed in Germany, so it’ll live here a few years before we get back to the states. (2018 TRD OR)

A German Taco! You must be something of an oddity in Germany? I don’t suspect you see many there?

Cement is a sweet choice. I went black but I still troll this thread because I love the look of the cement.

I finally got to see my new truck two weeks after my wife took delivery. I'm working in Houston and we bought a house in St. Augustine, FL where we will retire. My wife retired in May and is overseeing the renovation of the house.

We bought an OR DCSB to drive on the beach. She absolutely loves it! We shopped Outbacks, Wranglers and the Tacoma.

So I FINALLY got to drive the new truck today (visiting for the weekend). Shocked how well it drives. Shocked. It's as tight as the wife's 2018 MDX.

Our son has a 2008 Tacoma SR5 PreRunner purchased new as his first vehicle (only 52K miles!) and the difference in the feel of the steering and drivetrain in clearly noticeable.

Love the truck. Was approached three times today in parking lots by people commenting on how much they liked the color.

I've been complimented by strangers on this truck, specifically the color, more than any vehicle I've ever owned.

Stickers will come of when I have access to a source of heat. Bought a DaKine bike mat with camera cutout. Black TRD Wheels with BFG 265/70R17 arriving next week. Deciding on a hard tonneau. Probably the tri-fold backflip. TRD Grill next and then wait for the itch to return.

Because I keep all my Tacos forever, this one gets the Xpel and Ceramic Pro treatment. My 01's front end looks like a shotgun hit it a few times so I'm trying to prevent it with the new trucks.

I got the Full Xpel (full food, fenders, bumpers, side mirrors, door edges, door handle cups + A-pillars and about 6" of the leading edge of the roof) for $1400 and Ceramic Pro Gold (lifetime) for $1800. We live in a condo with limited access to being able to wash the our cars (and we also have frequent drought conditions which prevents us from washing our cars outdoors).
