evening all! im spent. yard done,new roof done,new shower done. back to work tomorrow. took today off too because roofer didnt finish yesterday.

Heading out to the car show in Apple Valley in a few minutes !!

 

Well.... Had to ask. Went to the mayor when I saw him in the parking lot. They bought 6 almost new cars from another city that was going broke. Got em for pennies on the dollar. They'll continue to use the old cars until they are ready to be put out to pasture, then start working in the "new" ones.

Good move I guess. Pays to ask questions

 

That is totally understandable. Especially LE vehicles. They are pretty expensive to start with and they run so many miles the turnover is high.

 

Picked a few Cherry Peppers. They're cored and soaking in vinegar for a few days.
I'll make some stuffed peppers this weekend once I get some prosciutto and provolone.

 

That is one of my favorite snacks. a Deli here carries pickled cherry peppers stuffed with provolone and prosciutto in olive oil they are sour,hot,salty,sweet all at the same time

 

Took a few min to do a impromptu bow test.
Cold turkey ,,,,, took 2 /20 2/30 2/40 yard shots.

Each yardage resulted in one bull and one just outside.

For sure if I miss it’s going to be my fault..

Dam it’s hot out again..

 

A way to make it fun when boy is shootin i take his arrows and toss around the yard so he shoots odd angles and odd yardages. he enjoys it!shootin ata Makezie deer!

Just got back from the car show that was in Apple Valley had a fun time Bench Racing !!

The highlight of the evening was when I was called out by a Street Racer who has a 7sec 69 Camaro .A friend of mine told me someone wants to talk to you about a race and he's over near your Camaro .I walked over to my Camaro and found an older guy calling me out . He asked if I wanted to run his 7 sec camaro and where we were going to run at

This is the 2nd time I've been called out in a year since moving up here

I'm heading for Myrtle Beach Friday night...wife's been there since Saturday. We'll be there until the 8th.
