    ^You really didn't miss much. It was really hot, almost to hot to be down there. I ended up swimming in the pond and shooting some shells. I was able to make it thru the new trail that we made w/ no problem at all. Of course it was really dry when I was down there.

    Yeah I did the whole trail, it was a little tight at the top as far as making the sharp right turn once you get to the top of the hill. Yes, I def need to make another trail. I need to go back down w/ my quad and drive around a figure out where the next rail is going to be.

    I remember it being a tight fit a little bit up the hill. Was curious to see if a longer truck could make the turn.

    Honeslty it probably wont be for a couple of weeks. I'm going to try and get another meet together down there at the end of this month. When I get home tonight I'm going to get some dates together and see what works and if there is any interest.

    hey guys! Haven't been around due to the end of the quarter getting crazy. Neil your truck is looking sweet with the aal, did I hear you were going for the 5100's up front?

    In other news, anybody interested in some custom bumpers/sliders :headbang: ? I've recently gotten to know a guy in Yellow Springs who is another VW nut, he builds baja buggies and just had one race. Long story short he saw my truck and got all excited and wanted to pull my bumper right there! We are probably going to start making some slider/skid plates and a hybrid bumper next month for my truck. Would anyone be interested in some armor for their trucks?

    Thanks its getting there. I bought the 5100's for my truck a couple of weeks ago but haven't had the time or the extra money to have them installed. I'm waiting till I have the money for front brakes and rotors so I can do it all at the same time since the whole front end will be apart anyways. Thanks for the offer on the sliders. I might be interested once I see some pictures. Just let me know. Hopefully we can all get together and have meet sometime soon.

    I have not got to play with it much just yet but I plan on using it a lot this weekend to get used to it.

    I used to know the trails pretty good back in there. especially off of Big Bear Lane. I know Livingston pretty well too.
