Well, it also has a faster processor which was taken from the Ipad and modified for the Iphone.

I didn't know they were going to offer iOS4 for the 3GS thats awesome!!! Anymore details on that? How can I get it?

I'll pass on the 4. Just wish I had waited till now to by my 3Gs. Could have saved some $.

 

How is that not a fail? i have 3g with my droid... and i have an amazing connection... thats not an excuse... Apples are supposed to be "amazing" but there shitty. as fuck

The iPhone 4 is a 3g phone. The 4 represents the 4th version of the phone. When I first saw the name of the phone, I assumed it was 4g also. They probably should have named it something else.

 

Let's see what version they make for the real cellular phone company... Verizon.

The phone during the demonstration was using a Wi-Fi connection, not a 3g connection and not a 4g connection (iphone's don't use a 4g connection). It's called the "iPhone 4" and it uses a 3G connection, 4G has nothing to do with this phone.

they CAN get virususes. most dont. there are PCs that dont get viruses. if you are careful and take care of your comp you wont get one

 

I've heard that current customers will keep there unlimited data plans but what if I decide to add a line with a Iphone4, any idea if it will still apply? My girl is cool with taking over my 3GS.

I know what your saying but 4g Is out. and WiFi i am pretty sure... 500 people weren't using WiFi. because he would put a password on the WiFi connection for people no to use all his bandwidth and what not.

 

I have a 3G and the wifi connection and its is more than 2X faster than the 3 3Gs I have had.

My 3G connection is faster than the 3Gs wifi connection regardless if I am using an apple router or linksys router or where ever I am.
My wifes itouch, screams on wifi.
Friends droids screams on wifi.
my 3Gs limps along compare to the above.
