Just tried to install balance beads. Wouldn’t go through stem. Tried to debead tire by driving the truck on it. Flattened the tire. Wouldn’t debead.

Who needs beadlocks?






Still have a balance issue...

 

I did this to my 4Runner tires, load E tires are a pain to debead easily. I hooked up a floor jack to the edge with a ratchet strap and when you jack the jack up, it pushes the tire off the bead a little. Rotate and do again. It gives you enough to get the beads in there.

In the end it didn't help all that much.

 

Put your Hi lift under your slider with the base of the jack on the Tire near the wheel. Start jacking.

 

Hi lift is still on the Amazon wish list, sliders are still in @presta24 ‘s garage...

I’ll take it to a friend of a friend’s shop and use their tire machine. Might cost me a 6 pack

Well we ain't so different after all. I'm having a kid, same ole job, trucks always broke, bought a 4runner, the entire rest of my life is a second job. Haha and yeah I needed a break. The people here who i like (which is a lot of people and I'm sure you know who you are) I really enjoy talking to and being friends with and on this platform it's easy enough to argue with or debate with or talk shit with because we understand each other on a personal level. The people I don't know personally, I can't have those same conversations with and the opposite occurs very easily where I'm now a dick or a racist or a troll or I don't know what im talking about because I drive a shitty 4 banger and those views are stemmed from open ended comments or questions or factual statements without a "lol" or smiley face attached to lighten the mood and it skews reality and creates some false persona of me that's not far from the truth but lacks any awareness that the single most gratifying thing I find in life is bettering myself and helping those around me ....

That was a really long sentence ....

But to sum it up, I don't care to be your fake friend, i care to be your real friend. Real friends arent made on the internet. They are created from personal, face to face relationships. I'd take a mediocre real world over a perfect Tacomaworld every single day of my fucking life.

 

My neighbors are in the process of making it an expo van. Its fucking massive and perfect to live out of while on the road.

Yeah I can't fuck off in a 4runner like I want to and they only come in auto so it's not really an option for me. Funny because it's a sexy truck and Sarah loves it but shes very sad about having to drive an auto now. We're 4 days into owning it and shes already asked to drive my car to work. Haha

I would’ve creamed myself if I could’ve gotten my runner in a manual. I miss driving a manual everyday, but got used to the auto with my truck.
