I saw that, just the way things are progressing, seems unlikely

Been on 103 and haven't even tried 104 as I like the throttle tip in and power that 103 supplies my truck and understanding the anticipation and excitement that everyone has waiting for a new updated tune I too share in that but I'm patiently waiting for 105 then I will re-learn the flash process with the dongle setup I have but until then let the man perfect this new update so we will all be more happy when it drops..!!

No criticism implied. Just a half serious question. Try not to get triggered.

For the record, OVtune is probably one of the best things to happen to the Tacoma and this forum

I could also not spend $35,000 on a third gen Tacoma but looks like a few people did that...

I’ve got money saved but I don’t see the point in hoarding a huge savings. Being out exploring and seeing the world is far more enjoyable and fulfilling than seeing a number in my account.

Anyone who can afford a 3rd gen Tacoma (at this time) can afford twin turbos on top...if you can't then financially speaking the Tacoma was a poor decision in the first place. Reality is more about how much twins are worth to you? For 99% of people that extra power isn't worth the coin (affordability aside) but for those rare few it is and they are in this thread.

Of course turbos are worth it. If you disagree i have a link to the Prius forum.

You could purchase an SR5 or Sport trim (or possibly even an OR), add the turbos, and not be too far off the price of a Pro...

Stop this non-sense conversation, who cares!!!!

@OVTune What's your ETA on the 1.05 drop so I can know when to lug my desktop/monitor out to my garage to re-tune? It's too bad there isn't full mac compatibility would make life a little easier but it's okay I really don't mind. There are some members who have had success with bootcamp/fusion/etc but I just wanted it to be straight forward.

I have 3 adult children, one is married and the other 2 have each been dating their "significant" others for a couple years or more.I also take care of my Mother-in-law and her sister, who both live with the wife and I. :help:

So really 8 kids, sort of. o_O

Any chance I could trade 1 or more for turbos? :D

Just unloading one of them would save me a heap o cash.

Ahhh Jeez, I should have waited another couple of weeks to order :( and received the Pumpkin Orange one and nicer cable !

Ahh well, as long as my truck goes the same as you intended... (But my Orange Virus really should have an Orange plug....)

Yea but i'd rather have a pro with turbos than an sr5 with turbos.

Fair enough. The average cost of a vehicle these days is absurd.

But real life kicks in when you have to have health insurance and don’t want to work for the man forever. Savings is not a good place to store money ...bad return
