Hi there, this is my first post. I’m pretty close to pulling the trigger on a new truck. I’ve ordered a 2018 TRD Sport in cement from the dealership. Just wanted some opinions if I should hold out for a 2019? Don’t know what changes there are if any, hoping to be enlightened.

    Thanks

I think a power outlet was the only difference along with dropping a couple colors,

If you are going Pro, there are some additional options such as sunroof. Also, some colors are going away so if you want Inferno or Blazing Blue Pearl, get an 18. But if you don't fall in either of those, save some cash and go 18.

Ya can’t justify a short box $60,000 truck. I need to haul stuff and I’ve wanted a Taco since I was 19.

Seems like a wash to me; depreciation vs. inflation. Get the truck in the color and combo you want regardless of the year.

Maybe you can try and get a better deal on the 18 from the dealer since 19’s will be coming.

Calvary Blue is supposed to be coming down from Pro to TRD's and Pro is getting VooDoo Blue.

Comparison. I'm not sure how well it will sell but it has that Pro badge so.... $$$

Do you think Toyota will offer better incentives next month with the 2019s getting closer to release? Not sure if I should pull the trigger tomorrow or wait to see the next incentives

^ good point. Toyota usually has a Year End Sales Event. MAYBE even get a deal on the out-going '18.

You have probably two weeks before they hit lots. I would guess incentives won’t increase much more than they are. They sell so well. The main issue is finding the exact truck you want before inventory depletes. That is the real gamble on the waiting game.
