Hey all! I'm looking to replace my stereo system and wanted to hear if anyone has suggestions for which unit I should install. Ideally, I am looking for something that will let me control my Ipod via the system.

Majority of HU's these days control ipod. So I agree, what's your price range, double or single DIN, etc etc.

I have been changing my mind a lot, but I think I'm starting to settle on the screens with the built-in DVD systems....not that I'm all that interested in having movies playing in my dash while I drive, but so many of them have radio, mp3, bluetooth (a good ideas now that I'm in Cali...), and the GPS navigation systems. They are a lot pricier than I was originally looking at, but I have about $500 set aside that I think could buy a descent one.

At first I was looking at single DINs but (unless I've been hearing wrong) I would lose my 6-disc changer. If I'm going to lose that I might as well get a really pimped out system to make up for it, right? :)

Also, a lot of the work I'm looking to do with my truck I want to do myself, but I have never come close to installing a stereo system and don't know how feasible that is...

Would these systems work with the 2009+'s built in AUX input?
