Not a bad snag. I may have to check that out. Better than testing blocks...

Any input on doing 1/2” passenger and 1/4” driver spacers needing uca with the 885s?

Definitely better than blocks. You'll be good on pavement and mild off road usage. For the front, your original idea of pairing 885/5100 along with the 1/4in spacer on the driver side would be ideal. You'll have a nicer ride w the billies at the 0 setting and the lift provided by the springs alone. I'm running 884/5100 with the 1/4in spacer and couldn't more happier. I have the rake and its the perfect amount of lift for my purposes.

As far as uca are concerned, as i've learned, anything over 2.5 will warrant aftermarket uca. There have been cases where it isn't needed but you don't really know until those alignment numbers are reported. If you have the budget, get the uca to further help get your alignments numbers dialed in correctly. If i ever decided to replace the 884 to go higher, uca is at the top of my list.

Yup. 885 + 5100’s set to 0 lift and a single 1/4” poly strut top spacer on drivers side only gives a perfect lift IMO. UCA very likely not needed but I did some anyway because my UBJ were looking tired and I wanted to dial in my castor to clear the beefy tires and aggressive -25mm wheels. The ride quality of the 5100 + 885 is fantastic on and off road.

Sounds like I’m set then!!! 885 with 1/4 driver. Done. I like the way your rig looks though, got a closer picture?

    Dude. Looks fantastic. Good work.

Negative. They’re cooper STT Pro’s and I love them very much!

Gotcha! I thought they had a different tread pattern. Similar to the mtp which is why I asked.

I did a BMC and put ICON Alphas on and BFG 285/70/17's. No rubbing,no issues.

Anyone running 285/75/16 BFG KO2 with the Bilstein 5100/885OME w/an add a leaf?
If so, can you post a pic please, I'd really appreciate it!

My rig is currently running these tires on stock suspension but the previous owner apparently was lazy with the rotations- 2 are cupped 2 are worn on the outside a bit. I would really like to keep this size so I can use the best of the four as my spare. My concern is whether this size will look "proper" with this lift.
I'm at a point that I need to do the tires asap as the vibration is driving me nuts and they are no fun in the rain!

These are 285/75r16 Cooper MTPs, but close enough. This with the 885/5100 and an AAL

Hi Tyler, I personally love my 285 footprint I think it is perfect for any situation I may put myself in.
I would recommend a BMC before you get the just to be safe and be free from rubbing. As far as power when I am towing my loaded trailer there is a little bit of power change going up the mountains but nothing drastic otherwise.
I do not even notice any power loss without the trailer but then I am not a lead foot kind of driver anyway.
I think there is a little MPG change but nothing that makes a yes /or no on a bigger tire choice to me.

What brand of AAL did you go with?

    Happy with it?

    I think it’s time to lift my 2015 2.7L AC 4x4.

I can’t remember to be honest. I bought the aal whe I put the spacers on in 14. I would think they are pretty much all the same.

I am so glad I took the spacers out. The new bilstines ride so much better.
