A couple days. Still have the mechanical fan as well

So far ac has been staying solid at 44* but the issue is usually when it’s 90-100 and it’s only been low 80s this week.

Do you have them wired with a thermostat ? Right now I just have mine wired to a push on/off switch. for going balls to the wall with that set up.

10-4 I put a pusher fan on my CJ5 years ago to keep it cool while crawling through the trails. So I am hoping for some good results while stuck in traffic and waiting for fast food etc.

Don't know if you already got it sorted.. but it's a 2 wire fan motor right? Just swap the 2 wires (power and ground) and the polarity of the motor should reverse.

My fan spins opposite direction but the blades are opposite of his so technically it’s correct.

Spal fans you don’t swap the wires. They have two different model numbers for pusher/puller.

Well today I did more tests with the fans. It was 86 out and the truck was at 43* vent temp. After 30 mins of idling it was at about 56. Not super impressed really. The fans did lower the engine temp ~5 degrees though so at least they aren’t completely worthless :annoyed:

Not sure why my ac rises at idle, but I’m done trying to find a solution.

As I was idling I upped the rpm a little bit and the vent temp definitely dropped a ton so I think this is the reason. As long as it doesn’t get over 60 I’ll be happy, but I have a feeling in 95-100 degree heat it will be...

44degrees running down the road, after sitting idle for 10/15 min temp is at a high 47 degrees. With the newly added fan running. It used to rise to 60 degrees in 5/10 min. So I feel that my problem is under control.1B45C3DB-B3D2-450F-BA54-5F1CB08A579F.jpg69D5D45B-BD6C-4D13-B13A-2051E9732F28.jpg

I think he was referring to the LCD thermometer in the A/C vent.

I like that thermometer. I’m curious if yours would continue to rise after longer periods of time.

I re did my test (20 mins) in 87 degree heat and it never left 44* so I guess its different every time for me depending on heat soak lol
