    It looks like one of those pits that looks fine until you touch it. I did that getting out of my kayak once and sunk up to my knees. Did the same in my old 4runner. I could walk on it just fine without even leaving an impression but soon as I drove I sunk 6 inches. 2wd, street tires, stuck...
