Got a shipping notice from ********* today for the budget friendly "system 1" + rear coaxial speakers. The shipping notice from UPS calls for 3 packages, one of them being 140 pounds. Where the hell are they getting 140 lbs from? The other two packages are 12 and 30 lbs. The only thing I can think is that they're crating everything up like freight.

sometimes the master tracking number will have the sum of all packages added up.

if it's a freight delivery, the tracking number won't follow the typical "1ZXXX..." UPS string.

According to the tracking number it's just ground shipping. that's still a single 100 pound box. How heavy is a small sub box?

definitely not 100lbs. unless it's already loaded with speakers, double-boxed, and packed with a ton of packing material.

also if it exceeds a certain cubic dimension, it's automatically considered an oversize item. that could be it too.

That's definitely different. Nice job. Baja's on separate switch?

correct. the shutter for the low beam cut off shield opens and the squadron pros turn on all at the same time when I hit the high beam stock.

This could be the case. I work for a shipping/delivery company and if an item is large/oversized and is light in weight it may be billed using dimensional weight which will be higher than actual weight. Hope this helps.
