I was lucky enough to have a great service tech at Firestone. Couple rechecks of the aligoans swaping the two front tires fixed it for the most part. Overall I’m very happy with the quiet and smooth ride. Can’t wait to get them Offroad this weekend

Because more than half the people on this forum half ass everything in order to get it done as cheap as possible. Did any of these people confirm the last time they had it properly aligned? Are any of their wheels bent? I've had zero pull issues with mine in over 3 years with them. Got them installed at Discount, Get them rotated every 5K, I always go out and ask the guy working on my truck how long he has worked there and confirm there are no balance issues after they are done.

Lol point taken. I'll be going to Discount - I know they'll stand behind their work.

I'm really wanting these. I swear this will be the first set of non-shit tires I will have had in my life.

I see you have level 8 trackers too. They told me the sticky weights should go in the center of the wheel (not on the outsides) on after market wheels... that is how mine are done. Rides perfect.

Good to know. I think that's how my weights are currently.

While I'm there I need to ask them if I can get new center caps for those Level 8 Trackers. I dented the shit out of mine.

They usually have to order them...so ask/order in advance of your install

I've been on them for about 30k so far. I've run them at various pressures from 24 up to 45, and I've had various alignments through it all, and they never pulled right. but I'm also the only one around here running them in 265/65-17. the lower sidewall makes them much stiffer with lateral forces. they're kind of a handful on the highway on my truck.

I'm probably going to just stick with my stock size, 265/70/16.

Best tire I’ve run so far. Very smooth and quiet. Came from the Toyo m/t’s and a/t’s before that.

Go 265/75/16. No rubbing, extra ground clearance, look great.

Again people only telling part of the story. They will not rub with STOCK wheels and no lift. They will rub with your Level 8s, when turning and hitting a bump, like turning into your driveway everyday. No rubbing at all with 1.75" in the front. So you should be fine

14k miles or so after I sold mine. Absolutely nothing wrong with my set, had 255s.

If Your lifted obviously get an alighment and road force balance them.

Good luck. I will add that st maxx does way better in rainy conditions compared to my current tire 285 Toyo RTs.

That might also be down to width. Wider tires tend to float more.

Possibility that I considered. But to the looks of it st maxx has a lot of siping compared to RTs. Didn’t really think to look at that during purchase. Rains a lot in Virginia.

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
    My 255 85 16 maxx.

I run them at 35 cold, and I've had them down to 8 psi. (I like to air down to around 12-18 depending)

    I have 15k on them.
