Got a guy in his early 70's that lives near me.
He built a nice AC Cobra years ago.
    He never drives it.
There it sits in the garage, door open and the guy fluffing and buffing.
Once in a while I hear him start it and load it on an enclosed trailer to take to a show someplace.

    What a waste.

Drive it. Get rock chips and bugs in the paint.
Jump on it. Light em up. The guy's in his 70's. WTF.

Can't get hold of the architect

But they cleaned up, waterproofed the back of the wall and poured some cement.
Probably 2 weeks before the slab is poured.

I've been banned from the track until I can do safety improvements as per NHRA Tech

    No Driveshaft loop

No long wheel studs and open face lug nuts

No safety bell housing or safety shield on transmission

    No SFI Flex plate

    No SFI Dampener

Batt disconnect wired wrong per NHRA

5 Point safety harness expired ,need new belts

Need new helmet as my SFI 2005 Helmet is out of certification and a 2015 rated helmet

This is why I stopped racing because NHRA or the Not Happy Racers Assoc want you to spend money every 2 yrs on safety items

At least I'm enjoying driving it to car shows ,once I can afford all these safety upgrades then I'll go back to the track . last time I tried to pass tech all the officials said I could do was run to the 60' and get out of the throttle

Im looking at a minimum of $2k to get the Camaro NHRA Certified and a couple hundred $$$ every 2-5 yrs to replace SFI certified parts

Just don't have the $$$$ funds right now !!!
