It couldn’t have been there too terribly long because it was blocking a trail. I think a recent storm knocked it over.

That would look nice mounted to your bed rack.

Thinking about this one. Nothing fancy but we have one at work and I like it.

Looks like a solid chainsaw! I say go for it. It’s VERY handy on the trail. Mine gets used every other trip or so. Just make sure your gas tank is full and/or you carry some extra gas. Would suck to run out.

I had their larger 450 rancher not really a fan. But this is due to what I was use to. I am use to a solid feel and the rubber isolated engine and bar from the frame of the chainsaw didn't give me a good feel for what the blade was doing and actually flexed quite a bit when cutting. I never really could get a good feel for using it nor did it inspire a lot of confidence. Decent saw though never really had any problems out of it and would work for like 99.9% of people looking for a saw. Like I said before you can get a nice professional grade one on the used market for about the same price. I have had saws from stihl and husqvarna from the climbers all the way to the big boys that could take the longest bars you could buy.

Yeah the only reason I'm looking at Lowe's is because I have a 10% off coupon and I get a free chainsaw case with my purchase. I'll get a push mower, weed eater and chainsaw for like $775. Don't really need a chainsaw right now but since I'm spending money on these other things I might as well get myself another toy that I can use camping and off roading.

    Edit: All Husqvarna equipment too

True. Owning .0000001% of the company. Stuff like that never comes up on the vite though. Its normally people in charge or whether or not we want the company to dilute shares.

I have an old Husky 350 with a 16" bar I bought from Lowe's when we moved up here 15 years ago. It's been sitting for about 10 years (no fuel in the tank) and a couple of weeks ago I needed it. Added fuel, filled the bar oil tank, took a half dozen pulls, did the job.

I think that 435 is the newer version of mine.

I have all that in my case with my gloves, and Pro Tip, a 2" paint brush that I use to brush the areas around the fuel and oil fill holes before filling to keep the sawdust from getting into the tanks.

Oh, and get a helmet with ear protection and a screen face protector. I had poly and it would fog up too much.
