We have seen 4 Bigfoot trailers in 10k miles. Now we are camping next to one. Not much has changed in 20 years.

 

I don't know how much they are other places but RCI has them on their website for $30.

 

I’ll remember that for later on. Going to need a silver or grey one.

It's insane the price of things these days. The sprinters are in that price range as well. And they are EVERYWHERE. Where does the money come from!?

 

It's America.. Just have a minimum wage job for 4 years in a row and you can take out a mortgage for $500k...

 

True, it's amazing how many $300-500k rigs are at the RV parks. Then you have the younger crowd with the $125-150k sprinters.

 

I have a friend building custom Sprinters for bicycle/ski/outdoor companies and individuals. Keeps expanding and hiring more help. Busy.

 

What's the name of his company? It's absurd how the sprinters have taken off in the last few years. Just like the go fast campers and the like for trucks.

I've been buying little like 2x2 strips of sticky backed velcro for my patches from an arts and craft store. Some brands stick better than others but it seems like the one I got holds up pretty well holding patches on the roof in the heat.

 

The truck is up and running but I hear binding every now and then and I don't know where it's coming from. I tried clearing as much of the air bubbles out of the power sterring reservoir as I can and looks like they stopped. Nothing is leaking. I'll see what Brian thinks tomorrow. I also changed the oil and removed the reservoir to clean the screen.

 

Probably won't bind when is weightless after you send it.

 

it can be a real bitch to get all of the air out of the PS system, have you jacked up the front and turned the wheel back and forth with the cap off?

 

I did that first. When it was still on jack stands. Then added the wheels and did it. And drove it around the block a few times. It finally stopped foaming.

 

Seriously, takes a little drive time. They hide air in that system really well.

 

Reminds me of this thing I see driving around occasionally.
