Meh. I have a bunch of stupid tattoos. They make for better stories!

 

I've got no issue with tats, either. What does bother me is that in the last few years, the money that we gave to the new graduates was spent on ginormous tattoos.

This happened on 2 occasions. I don't like that money I gave to help with college was spent on a huge tattoo.

These kids are getting tats just because others have tats and nothing to do with creating a meaningful memory.

God, after reading that I feel old. Fuck it. Hitting "send".

 

My thing is I've always been down with tattoos. But I'll save up and then think to myself , well, I can get a motorcycle or tattoos. Ammo or a tattoo. Gas for traveling.... Ect. Just never pulled the trigger

 

Afternoon! Today's my Friday. Leave out for Indiana at 6am tomorrow. Not super excited to drive out there for a day just to come back the next.

I was on the road this afternoon and it was already getting thick.

When both boys are home I can’t really get anything done around the house. I’ve been putting off mowing for too long due to heat so maybe I’ll sneak that in. How young is too young to have my older kid sit with me on the lawn tractor? I have some earmuffs that’ll fit him.
Heading to the wife’s grandparents tree farm on Saturday to visit and let big little man run around in the field.

Would love to get some fishing in at the mother in law’s lake before the end of the summer since I haven’t really done much of that at all this year but very unlikely this weekend.

Hopefully some fishing. Using tomorrow as a crossover day. Going to try and get sleep right off the bat and wake early evening. I'd like to get that fuse box squared away. I think I'll just need some male spades for the wire and some hardware to mount it and it'll be good.

From there will be rewiring the existing stuff, installing the new switch pannel, and then doing that light bar. Hopefully my old man is done using my jack so I can puty truck up and lube the UCA's.

This weekend is always a bit of a wash. People always crows the areas I go to which normally are vacant all year. So I let them have this week end enjoy all fall instead

My gf is going to be pissed if I buy more parts. Im at the point where every $500 bucks I spend on my truck adds like another $1k to the ring.

 

Power went out at my sawmill at 2315, time is currently 0125. Shift normally goes until 0600. Power company had an estimated restoration time of 0115, and crews got on-site at 0100. Do I wait or call it a night?

 

After kid #1 she got the second matching band, kid number 2 was a little sooner than we anticipated and after we bought the new house so diamonds weren’t in the budget. Luckily, I can insure the property and the rings under the same policy.

Edit: your girl is gonna end up with a massive piece of compressed carbon at the rate you’re going.
