I hope your Orbi is better than mine. I wish I had gotten the Linksys Velop.

I can only dream of that speed with the shit ass monopoly we have down here. I'm at 50 megs on a plan. They refused to let me raise my speed to 100 megs even though I said I'm willing to pay for it and you can keep the plan I'm on to the same point it ends.

I'm using a 6" drop with the factory tow package and a 3" lift. I'd say with a high clearance you're looking at 10-12" drop.

Good to hear he is doing better. I have been lurking in the background here and don’t really know you or him but will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. Cancer sucks. I’ve been on chemo for 7 years now courtesy of Gulf War service. One day at a time. Best of luck to you and your family.

Thanks a lot. His is due to his deployments to Iraq in the early 2000s most likely. He was part of the few that ran across the chemical factories. Him and his buddies he deployed with all have cancer at this point and that’s the common link. Still waiting on if the army is going to own up to it or not.

There are many of us with the same issues. Many. Tell him to keep trying to get his benefits. The chemicals were one thing but several issues were the result of the vaccines, many of which they wouldn’t even tell you what they were.

He had mentioned the vaccines as well. I just hate watching vets suffer after the war they fought has long been over for them. Even worse is the government not taking care of some of the problems they caused. I've yet to deploy but it makes me wonder what I'll bring home once I do after seeing my father-in-law like this.

I agree. I miss the military but, like many other organizations, it’s not perfect. The transition from military to civilian life is tough for many people, but thankfully it was easy for me. I kept fighting and got the VA benefits I thought I deserved considering what I left with but so many others are still fighting. Then again a lot of people are gaming an overburdened system too. There are no easy answers for sure.

Best of luck to you and your family too. From one vet to another. Glad the VA is working out but same issues those that were exposed to Agent Orange in Nam. Had a family member pass last year and he never got the support he deserved.

So tackling 600-1 was really no sweat. Only put it in 4x4 a few times to get up some hills to the picture spots like this one. What can I expect from 600-2? Thinking about heading back out there to Talladega Saturday.

600-2 will be pretty tired out with all the rain we have had. There are a few washouts that will flex your truck all the way out. I hit sliders and skids a few times going up trying to make the trail more fun. Expect to have your truck pinstriped from the foliage overhanging on the trail.

You should make the trip to Choccolocco on Sunday to see what a good park looks like.

@FourBanger99 this is one of the first washouts you will come to. The inferno was stock and did everything just fine with a couple spots along the way.

It amazes me that there can be logical explanations to things that people dont see because they have too much fun being angry and raising pitchforks. Wish more folks would wait till the involved parties explain themselves before jumping to conclusions.

Dont they though...some of it is in jest and humorous but some of it is just too far and unnecessary. A lot seem to forget these are real people on here.
