    "Thrust angle"

Or, you end up driving like a Dodge.

But yes, there isn't anything on the rear axle to adjust in terms of the rear wheels to each other.

Having DD'd my SAS'd S10 on 35s for the last 5 years, gonna have to disagree on this. If it's done right, and maintained, most folks wouldn't know the difference while commuting. Now, on rutted roads and offroad tracks, I'd agree. Even then, however, I think you'd have to be very old and rather delicate for it to matter much.

Did you ever use Monte's write-up about WD-40in the springs and linkage behind the door handles? It makes a huge difference

Igor: Double Cab 4x4. Frankenstein's Helper

Assuming from the splatter of fluid it looks like you sprayed the threads of the coilover before? If not try that, always helped me but mine were newer

Most likely. I have a similar product, JKS ACOS, on my XJs. While not a coilover, it is an adjustable coil spacer. First thing you have to do is get the coil compressed in order to adjust it. There's just WAY too much mechanical advantage against you, otherwise.

Damn, Yeah probably just go get some janky spring compressors to get it compressed a little and get the collar moving. Douse it in wd-40 and release the spring compressors and you should be good to go from there

Sounds about right, but you'd want to use a penetrating oil, like PB Blaster. WD 40 isn't a lubricant. ;)

Each their own, they both are great if done properly- and Toyota has done it properly. I will most likely go SAS, but that's simply because I can do it for much cheaper than I can do a proper IFS lift.

Wanna be my friend ? Lol. I got buddies who can weld. But fabricating and welding are different. Haha

I have a buddy with a sas'd runner on 44s and he got in my truck. He could not believe how smooth it was. Down side, i cant go where he goes to play. Or i cant keep up

Yeah with how old/rough looking his were that'd be better. Since mine were "newer" WD-40 worked. But I've got both

A lot of that may come to what kind of tires they are. 44" boggers are going to be rough, usually. Also can get into bias ply vs radial tires. I'd never have a need for anything so large so can't comment on his build. I run 35s and Centramatic wheel balancers (after my tires are manually balanced with a bubble leveler). They run smooth, assuming I don't get lazy and skip the alignment.
