I installed my 2.5’s right out of the box without adjusting them and ended up with 1” of lift up front. I’m still using my stock UCAs and my alignment shop had no problem getting everything within specs. The ride is great too.

That looks like a lot of preload for just 1" of lift??

Ok guys I'm close on pulling the trigger on 2.5 RR's with DSC adjusters front and rear in extended travel ....
Question is I'm worried about rust and corrosion even though I'm in so cal I want my system to stay clean and good looking. Are there any real concerns or is there a good remedy that doesn't attract and hold dirt and debris...?
Some of the pics I've seen regarding this has me concerned.

My shop told me the same thing. Hence why I have hesitated to pull the trigger. May go Kings or go home.

Got some 700lb coils installed in my Fox 2.5 dsc/resi coilovers, and got all my rear suspension stuff installed a couple weeks ago with my Fox bypass shocks! IMG_20180731_095859_059.jpg

From what accu tune says the fox are superior in a lot of ways but this issue is making me rethink my decision...

They are 14" coils on standard travel dsc coilovers just like yours. On my setup it's fine if just a tad bit stiff but I have a tube bumper planned that should do the trick nicely.

Cornering is much more stable sans sway bar, less sway without affecting articulation or anything, and subjectively speaking it seems much quieter over bumps than before

Preload is pictured but it's set at 7/8" passenger side and 1" driver's side which is currently sitting at 2-2.5ish" of lift over stock. I'm not exactly sure but it's somewhere in there, good amount of lift with almost no preload and great ride quality! Best of all these springs should last longer I'm hoping thanks to the high spring rate and low preload

Installed Fox Racing Shox 2.5 Factory Series Coilover Reservoir Shock Set - 880-02-376 in the front and 985-24-116 in the rear and I love the ride. I got 1 more inch of lift in the front then stock to be close to level.

That is definitely over 1 inch and a good amount of preload. What is the thread count?

This was due to a different coating that Fox used to use in the past on their shocks. They've since updated their finishing process and it's no longer an issue.

I second this. I have the shocks in my cart and waiting for my trigger finger to pull away.
