    Best oil is changed oil

cheapest dino oil on sale changed at 5k works for me since I am too cheap to do oil tests for it

28 to test oil vs do an oil change

    Nice.

I ran same oil and filters for years on everything with out issue. Even in my VMAX except used a Yamaha filter.

the important part is changing oil
running a longer OCI requires testing and testing and testing for that super expensive oil that empties your wallet

Speaking of oil I just changed my oil. Why is it that 5 quarts of oil gets you about 80% to overfilled line. No way you can add the specified amount of oil in these 2nd gens.

If your not changing your own oil chances are whoever is changing it might be overfilling it.

Walmart was out of the their brand when I went so I got Mobil1 and a Toyota oil filter.

to get 100%, you need to add .4937465 qts minus the Filter area divided by the difference of fatory specs minus OIC % change in DIY JO over the square root of 69.

Compared to other engine oil brands, how quickly does Amsoil drain out when the drain plug is removed? Is it faster? If I saw some data that showed increased performance in this area I could be convinced to switch.

dealing with AMSOIL is a pain in the ass, everything is a added monetary expenditure when I can easily go to Walmart and pick whatever brand I can afford to use, makes life so much simpler, because there is not enough time in life to worry about my engine being damaged(it wont) by using SUPER TECH for my 5k OCI. Im more worried about making my bill payments than I am being concerned about using a PAO IV synthetic oil.

I once used AMSOIL Severe gear oil at a premium price its not worth the money, I can get MOBIL1 locally for less money and no hassles with shipping and it does just as well,

I once used AMSOIL back in the early 90s and after that no one in 20 miles carried it. I don't want to waste my time looking for oil. Used Castrol mostly over the years since I like the way it smells on a hot burning exhaust

Stop picking on those that cant tell the difference between an engine drain plug and a non gender specific drain plug.

I see what your saying, it is better than no data at all though. It gives a good idea to people.

    Magnets for the win!!!

NRG Aluminum 5000 Gauss Magnetic Oil Drain Plug so the oil is magnetized and aligns the oil molecules to increase lubricity

Make sure you replace the plug every oil change as the magnet can not be cleaned 100% of iron particles

add in a pair or two of 500 LBS NEODYMIUM ROUND HIPPO FISHING MAGNET to crank case to aid in this process creating a magnetic vortex

Add in 20 all over the air intake to make sure no iron ever gets in the engine

Don't forget to add a dozen of those magnets to the fuel line too, it will align the carbon atoms and give you better MPG

I spend $64.00 and 30 minutes a year changing my oil. Makes life simpler and I never worry about my engine being damaged but use what ever helps you sleep at night.

    Budget or 'quality time'? :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Guess it depends on if you drink while it's draining, or have chosen to abstain until the job is done. So you don't do one of those drain transmission/fill crankcase oil changes. ;)
