You don’t need rear kings and honestly between fox/king/ADS it’s the coating on ADS that wins me and they sell you the shock they actually use on their race trucks and they are black. I stopped looking at icon a while ago. Still good stuff just not good on CS from what i heard A few years ago. There is a reason icon are for sale all over and people normally upgrade to fox or kings after. Again still a good product just the trend i seeM to see a lot.

B110 in rear with Dakar/allpro or 5125/5160 and AAL.

so either way, I'll end up with Dakars in the rear eventually (may do an AAL initially since I'm on brand new suspension

    but my question about Fox:

will their 2.5" coilovers give me a 2.5-3" lift?

it says they are compatible from 0-2" lift.... but I know places underestimate their lifts (like OME says 2", but everyone gets 2.5-3" out of them)

I agree with Caleb that if you’re gonna have nice suspension up front, it doesn’t make sense to have bilsteins in the rear.

so I've been talking to Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road (huge wealth of information) she sent me this:

I think I'm going to pony up to the Fox Level 3 kit with an AAL and eventually swap that out for a Dakar leaf pack... I am going to go with a Progressive rate since I travel on road 90% of the time (commuting from Nova to WV) and slow trail riding the other 10%

Thinking about doing 5100/886 combo, but was told by someone the two shouldn't go together, did that work out for you?

The 886 are a little different because they’re stiffer (660lb coils) than the 885s (590). A lot of people run them and are fine though.
