But really all he needs is to ditch the hockey pucks and throw some 880 or 881 coils with the 5100 on 0.

    What?

They’re all very nice people. They’re just bad at taking out the trash.

I wouldn't say my diff drop did nothing, it just wasn't enough to justify it IMO. I barely noticed any change, and calling it a 'drop' is sort of inaccurate as it really only tilts the front of the differential downward...doesn't lower the whole thing. It does improve the angles but if you want to see substantial improvement you'd have to stack more washers and tilt it further, but at that point I'd worry about how well the gear oil is circulating within the housing with the angle of the diff pointed so far down.

don't get me wrong, I kept mine in as I did notice some improvement, but I can understand why some people just don't want to go through the trouble.

I just think it's one of those things for me that the $20 spent is a no brainer, and it literally can't make it worse. Any myriad of other mods we do run the risk of making things worse (like balljoint spacers, lol).

Sure, it causes your crappy stock skid plate to hit the diff, but I solved that with some scrap 1" square stock and a welder. I plan to make a *real* skid once I get a bumper made.
