I've got more info on it possibly... It seems like it's going to be built by Mark (nwitaco on this forum) and owned by another guy. The guy purchased it left it there at Marks for now for him to build up. Mark does some incredible work and I have no doubts that we will see this bad boy in action before 2020.

Correct. Initially, Mark was going to buy it and get rid of his 2nd Gen. Jeremy (the new owner) said he'd buy it if Mark changed his mind. Good thing Mark changed his mind haha. He wanted to put an LS in it. :annoyed:
Jeremy comes from the car scene and is no stranger to turbocharged engines, so the 3RZ is going to stay. Mark will do what fab work remains while Jeremy will get the drivetrain and other stuff set up. Luckily they're both about 2.5 hours from me, so I'll try to help as much as I can.

Dang that is unfortunate. Well at least it will get going.

I agree. If I saw it go up before I would have tried to scrounge up some money to get it.

I was saving up for a double cab, but this came along. Say hello to Taco 2.0 :anonymous:

'02 TRD, 5VZ-FE/A340F with 326k miles. No plans to mod it. Not gonna fall into that rabbit hole again. :bananadead:

If anything, maybe it'll be around long enough to be my kiddo's first vehicle when he's old enough to drive (5-6 years).

The '81 has been fun but the cab is too damn small, especially with a kid. Hoping to sell that by spring/summer.
